Failed Coup

There are about twenty thousand Jews in Turkey. They have been protected by the strong central government which has also maintained good relations with Israel despite being a Muslim country and despite the attitudes of its Muslim Neighbors.

So we hope that the failed coup attempt by exiled, somewhat-more-secular Muslims against the current government will not result in the scapegoating of the Jewish community, nor we hope will terrorists succeed in taking advantage of the relative disorder to mount attacks on the Jews of Turkey.

Cleveland Plain Dealer backs Obama !!

Still shot of Romney and Obama — extracted from the video of the second debate.

This conservative paper backed both Bushes, and Raygun. Comes out strong for Obama, citing the reasons. It’s on the early morning news, so it must be out in print for the Sunday Cleveland paper. Great stuff, and it renews faith in the literacy, research capacity, and independence of the press in traditionally ‘conservative’ strongholds. Read the rest of this entry »

New Israeli Visa Needed

A Turkish military truck transporting a mobile missile launcher into Syria.

A Turkish military truck transporting a mobile missile launcher into Syria.

Our exclusive-to-Jewish-Jihad intemperate correspondent is still on the job.  Today he writes:

Syria claims to have killed four Turkish military imbedded in a rebel unit, I think they were in Aleppo.

I predicted many weeks ago that the Turks would do them in for the west. The trick is to keep NATO out of it, on the surface. The Turks are barely Muslims, they are definitely not Arabs.

The Hezbollah chief was killed in Syria by the rebels, He was there leading some evil unit for Assad, though the Hezbollah deny it, and had a funeral, and supposedly a body, in Lebanon.

I was only half not kidding, when I predicted we could see Hezbollah fight Hamas next.  Hamas is backing the rebels in Syria.

They would need to go roundabout through the West Bank to get at each other; or commute directly through Israel on the new “Go Ahead and Kill Each Other Visa” …  in a rare acquiescence to Arab demands !!

(No stopping along the new freeway allowed!)

Feel free to forward, publish, distribute by carrier pigeon… Remember, you heard it here first !!

Do You Love Moses Enough?

The Prophet Abraham!Just received from an intemperate correspondent:

Maybe we Jews should have a “Love the Prophet Day” as has been proclaimed by the Pakistani government.

To celebrate our love of Moses we could engage in violent riotous protests, goad the police to shoot and kill a few demonstrators to really get things going; then, to follow closely their excellent and exciting program, burn a random movie theater owned by a fellow Jew because we take umbrage with Charlton Heston’s insulting performance.

Of course to really follow their lead in fervent worship we should scream how we want death to all those different from us. If we can’t get at anyone different because we’ve driven them all out of the country, we can always stone one or two of our own kind in frustration. Maybe only a few Reforms will show up and the Orthodox can beat them; or perhaps only a few Orthodox will show up and the Reform women can bare their breasts to chase them away. And all the Rabbi’s can lead and rile the mob as the Imams do. What fun!

Hollywood could have prevented all this by hiring a real Jew to play the role!  And shouting death to the Germans would not be so awful…

In Every Generation…Victimhood is a License to Persecute

exodusHolocaust Remembrance Day always falls during the week that follows Passover. At first glance, the two would seem to have little in common — one memorializes the millions of European Jews annihilated by Nazi Germany; the other commemorates the deliverance of the Jews from slavery in ancient Egypt.

Yet for all their obvious differences, a fundamental similarity links these two crucial chapters in Jewish history. Both were attempts at genocide — and in both cases the perpetrators justified their savageries by claiming that they were the real victims, threatened by the people they intended to wipe out.

At the Passover Seder, retelling the 3,000-year-old story, Jews read the passage from Exodus in which Pharaoh rationalizes the lethal repression he is about to inflict on the Hebrews. “Come, let us deal wisely with them,” he declares. “Otherwise they may become so many that if there is a war they will join our enemies, fight against us, and leave the land.” His notion of dealing wisely: slave labor, followed by mass murder. “Then Pharaoh commanded all his people, ‘Every boy that is born to the Hebrews, you shall throw into the Nile.’ ”

Thirty centuries later, the same pattern preceded the Holocaust.

“The Jewish people stands against us as our deadly foe,” railed Adolf Hitler in 1922, “and will so stand against us always.” More than 100,000 Jews had served in the German army during World War I; 12,000 had fallen in battle. Yet Germany’s defeat was blamed on a “stab in the back” by disloyal traitors — especially the Jews. To this baseless libel the Nazis added others, such as the grotesque claim of race defilement. “The Jews were responsible for bringing Negroes into the Rhineland with the ultimate idea of bastardizing the white race,” Hitler seethed in “Mein Kampf.” Such a villainous enemy could be shown no tolerance and given no quarter: “It must be the hard-and-fast ‘Either-Or.’ ”

Within weeks of coming to power, the Nazis launched the reign of terror that would culminate in the Final Solution. At every step, their crimes against the Jews were described as self-defense. “The Jews of the whole world are trying to destroy Germany,” screamed government posters as the Nazis unleashed a boycott of Jewish-owned businesses. “German people, defend yourselves!” In every issue of Der Stürmer, the Nazi newspaper published for more than 20 years by Hitler’s ally Julius Streicher, a front-page banner proclaimed: “The Jews are Our Misfortune.” Read the rest of this entry »

A Survivor’s View

Emanuel Tanay, holocaust survivor, psychologistThe author of this article is Dr. Emanuel Tanay, a well-known and well respected psychiatrist:

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates.  When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.  ‘Very few people were true Nazis,’ he said, ‘but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care.  I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools.  So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen.  Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come.  My family lost everything.  I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.’

We are told again and again by ‘experts’ and ‘talking heads’ that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace.  Although this assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant.  Read the rest of this entry »

All In The Family

Marine Le Pen, new President of France's anti-semitic National Front

Marine Le Pen

Jean-Marie Le Pen,  the anti-semitic leader of France’s National Front party, has handed the party leadership over to his daughter.  In his farewell speech, Le Pen said he had no regrets for calling the Holocaust a “detail” in the history of World War II, nor for other comments that repeatedly cost him fines in court.

He suggested in his speech that Jews cry wolf, unduly claiming to be victims of anti-Semitism.  This was a reference to French journalist Mickael Szames, who had reported that he was  injured by security guards at a National Front event because he was Jewish.  Le Pen then joked about it:  “the person in question thought he could say that he was kicked out because he is Jewish; it didn’t show either on his (press) card or on his nose.”

His daughter, the newly elected leader of the National Front, is  less likely to use such overt Jew-baiting, but the rotten apple doesn’t fall far from the tree: Marine Le Pen feels the same  disdain  for the Jewish community in France.  She has taken a hard line against French Muslims as well, comparing prayer in the street (outside overcrowded  mosques) to the Nazi occupation.
